Science Fair Judges & Floor Monitors
USM Region I Science and Engineering Fair (SEF) will be February 16 for about 250 students, grades 6-12. On April 13 they will host about 500 students, grades K-6. Volunteers would assist Region I staff with judging/scoring projects and enforcing the rules of the judging floors.
Two types of volunteer roles are needed:
   – Judges:  This role can be expected to stay roughly three hours. Judging starts at 9:30 a.m. and should last until lunch.
– Floor monitors:  Volunteers are in charge of making sure the students are in front of
their projects, assist parents, and answer any questions about the layout of the venue. They are needed at the beginning of the fair (8:30 a.m.) and will be needed throughout the fair. Lunch will be provided to all that volunteer.
Please sign up at http://www.msefregion1.com/want-to-help-judge if you want to judge or
http://www.msefregion1.com/set-up–fair-day-volunteers or to sign up to be
a floor monitor. If you have any questions, contact the USM Region I Science and
Engineering Fair (SEF) at 601.266.4779.
