Lauren Gardner is a psychology major from Star, MS. Here are a few words from Lauren about her experience on the Luckyday discovery trip.

I wanted to come on this trip because I’ve always wanted to go to California, and I love to travel. I guess a good story of mine would be riding on the trolley car and talking to the two funny men on it. They asked where we were from, and when we said Mississippi they replied, “Welcome to America.” We rode the trolley for a grand total of 3 minutes down the street. We told them that we were going to walk to Coit Tower, and they laughed at us. As we were going up the huge hills we realized why, but we made it and got to see the beautiful views the tower had to offer.
